What’s your spirit animal and why?
Jyotikka: My spirit animal fluctuates between a wolf & a whale.whale because I have a strong inner voice, and always follow my own truth. Because I’m so in touch with reality, I’m self-aware and don’t get involved in drama. I have strong bonds and emotional ties with those I love. Wolf, chiefly, for an expression of my sharp intelligence and strong instincts. 😉

How’s your entrepreneur journey so far? Tell us more about your ‘entrepreneurship. It’s a truly inspiring thing to be a business woman, what inspired you to pursue the idea?
Jyotikka: Taste of any journey depends upon your attitude and expectations. I consider my journey to be wonderful. It stretches from depth of trouble and sufferings to the peaks of success, satisfaction and recognition.

There is still a lot to be done and I am not even at the mid of what I expected at the start. But I am highly satisfied that the journey till time has been highly rewarding. Not in terms of cash, but in terms of exploring my potential & crafting myself as per my dreams.

For me Entrepreneurship is about developing your self in the course of building your dreams on ground. It’s not about money, it’s about me & my worth. It’s been pretty amazing and believe me it’s like being on a roller coaster, just with no seat belts. You get to face a lot of emotions in no time from happiness to worry and to what not. It’s mesmerizing and daunting at the same time, but then, life is all about those mini heart attacks. It makes you feel alive with its presence.

”Competitive nature is what makes a great entrepreneur. ”

Jyotikka Mishra

Initially, it was only about following and fulfilling a dream: the absolute unmitigated joy of being able to make it on my own as a creative spirit. I don’t believe that you can be an entrepreneur by just being good at what you do. You really need to sustain that excitement and enthusiasm, and never lose the passion! Always be a ‘sponge’ for learning new business, people and life skills.Becoming an entrepreneur is a reward for effort. Enjoy the journey!

”Inspiration comes from the ability to be as creative as you want to be”, says Jyotikka.

What inspired me to pursue the idea is the freedom to create my own destiny. My success or failures are my own. It is exciting to me to not be limited by my employer on how much income I make or what I do. Inspiration comes from the ability to be as creative as you want to be and show people something they potentially have never seen before. For a lot of people, it is about money, fame, freedom and all of that is absolutely realistic and fantastic, but i mostly do it for the excitement of being creative and thinking on my own. When you work for someone else, you are helping them with their own vision. If you are a true entrepreneur, that is all it takes to motivate you to have your own vision and make it a reality. Having a white board in front of you with a team of people that you threw together, trying to make it in a competitive world, makes it all more fun.

I think for me, on top of creativity, it is the ability to stay competitive. Trying to make it big in any industry is virtually impossible, so why do we try. We try so we can see if we have what it takes. That competitive nature is what makes a great entrepreneur.   There is no one right way to get inspiration. It is deeply personal and derives from what is important to and what drives you. But no matter where you find it, it is often an integral part of what keeps you going when times get tough.

What’s your advice for someone contemplating to become an entrepreneur ?
Jyotikka:Don’t give up, don’t take anything personally, and don’t take no for an answer” , Jyotikka advises.
Go ahead with it, at the death bed, I assure you, you wont have any regrets.

What’s a beauty product you can’t live without?  Jyotikka: Those who know me now will know that I’m Charlotte Tilbury obsessed.  My can’t-live-without beauty product is Charlotte Tilbury ‘Lip Magic’ Rejuvenating Smoothing Lip Balm. I’ve always been a lip balm addict, but this is the one brand I’ve stuck with for the longest. It provides the perfect amount of moisture, whereas other lip balms actually dry out my lips.

Can you describe your fashion style? Who’s your inspiration?
Jyotikka: My personal style can change from day to day, depending on my mood, who my client is, what I’m working on and what I’m doing. My style swings from the minimalist to sophisticated feminine with a bohemian twist to relaxed urbanite featuring drop jeans and tee. I often finish off my look with a great jacket or coat.
Kendall Jenner, because of her wide range of styles, and her ability to fit into new trends.

Her powerful attitude gets to match all of her outfits. Classy and a little bit sassy!

What’s the one fashion mantra that you follow?

Jyotikka: With Fashion styles, designers and houses ever changing, sometimes one has to refer back to an Icon.Coco Chanel has timeless Golden Rule:

”After looking in a mirror, one should remove one accessory item before walking out the door.”

Coco Chanel

This applies to all aspects/style of clothing/fashion.Give it a try and honor Chanel, you will be surprised how you will both look and feel.

What’s a  fashion trend you love right now? What’s a fashion trend you dislike?
Jyotikka: Fashion trend is a circular loop. What is gone, comes again as a latest fashion.

A trend I absolutely adore is the suit-up dresses & the trench coat outfits. Suiting is always classy and a bit sassy.

A trend I dislike is socks with high heels.

Multi-talented and resourceful, Jyotikka is a also brand ambassador of many well known brands.

What’s the coolest thing about being an influencer?
Jyotikka: Getting paid to do what genuinely excites you. I feel truly grateful to intertwine my love for creativity, content development, and storytelling along with brands that resonate with my lifestyle — and getting compensated for it. It’s a hustle like no other, but it’s worth every penny.  It’s also thrilling to be a part of the ever-changing environment where strategies are constantly being tested and we have the creative liberty to provide our input along the way. Also, it’s the love you get from people. It’s so nice to wake up and read through messages of people sharing how much they appreciate you as a person and everything I am doing. The validation is amazing.
